Tourism Fiji, in partnership with Fiji Airways, entered (28-Jun-2019) a MoU with Tuniu to further increase Chinese tourism in Fiji. The partnership aims further strategic cooperation between the groups to provide Chinese travellers with more comprehensive travel products and aid Fiji tourism's product development, resource procurement and marketing. Tuniu VP Bruce Wang said Fiji is "of great significance as a natural extension of the Belt and Road Initiative on the South Pacific route" and is a popular choice for Chinese outbound tourists.
