TAP Portugal board member and shareholder David Neeleman stated the carrier plans to operate trans Atlantic routes with A321neo LR equipment, including Porto-US and Porto-Canada routes (Aeroin, 20-Oct-2017). The carrier will configure its A321neo LRs with 175 seats. The carrier plans to hire Brazilian pilots to sustain its international network expansion plans.
