TAP Air Portugal and Bahia Government study options to increase passenger traffic in Salvador

    Bahia‘s Government announced (04-Feb-2019) TAP Air Portugal“intensified dialogue” with Bahia’s Government to develop new strategic actions to increase passenger traffic at Salvador Luis E Magalhaes Airport. Among the suggestions, the implementation of a stopover programme in Salvador, allowing passengers to stay between one and five days in the city without an increase in fare. TAP Air Portugal country manager Brazil Mário Carvalho committed to study the option.
