16 June, 2020

Sydney Airport CEO Geoff Culbert said "in the space of one month" the airport "went from being the beating heart of the city to a ghost town, it's devastating" (ABC, 15-Jun-2020). Mr Culbert added: "We were handling 1000 flights a day, we're now doing 10 flights a day, 20 if we're lucky. 150,000 people were coming through the airport everyday, we're now seeing 100, 200 people a day".
