Sunshine Coast Airport partners with FAN to boost food exports

Sunshine Coast Airport signed (17-Jun-2019) a partnership agreement with the Food and Agribusiness Network (FAN) with the aim of boosting food exports from the region to national and international markets. The Sunshine Coast's food industry is valued at AUD750 million (USD515 million) p/a and is expected to reach AUD1 billion (USD685 million) p/a by 2022. More than 900 businesses operate in horticulture, dairy production, seafood, nurseries and food and beverage processing in the region. Food and agribusiness also supports the food tourism sector.
