New Zealand‘s Civil Aviation Authority stated the suspension of Sunair remains while Sunair works through the issues, which included updating maintenance records and completing remedial maintenance activities (NZ Herald, 05-Feb-2018). As of mid-Jan-2018, Sunair’s AOC remains suspended as did the airworthiness certificates for all but two of the 14 aircraft fleet.
