StarLux to undertake aircraft proving test in Nov-2019 ahead of launch in Jan-2020

Taiwan Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) stated StarLux Airlines will undertake a 50 hour aircraft proving test, to be administered by the CAA in the week commencing 11-Nov-2019 (Taipei Times, 11-Nov-2019). The CAA said the test is a key criteria prior to the airline commencing operations in Jan-2020. The CAA also stated that because this is the first time a Taiwanese airline will operate the A321neo, it will examine how the aircraft operates on different international services.
