StarFlyer expects intl services to be profitable ahead of target

StarFlyer said it expects to be profitable on Kitakyushu-Taipei and Nagoya Chubu-Taipei routes sooner than its previous target of after three years (Nikkan Koku, 13-Jun-2019). The carrier said losses on the routes will reach JPY1160 million (USD10.7 million) in FY2019 ending Mar-2019 and JPY1000 million (USD9.2 million) in FY2020 ending Mar-2020. The carrier said international services could be profitable or breakeven by FY2021.
