St John's International Airport to open first phase of terminal expansion in Jul-2018

St John's International Airport announced (26-Jun-2018) plans to open the first phase of its expanded terminal on 12-Jul-2018. Phase one construction of the expansion commenced in late 2014, adding 145,000sqft to the departures area of the airport terminal. The new departures lounge will feature additional seating and gate capacity, and more F&B and retail outlets. Construction on the second phase is slated to commence in 2019 and add approximately 100,000sqft to the arrivals area.
