SriLankan Airlines plans to increase Colombo Bandaranaike-London Heathrow frequency from seven to eight times weekly, effective 15-Jul-2019, to nine times weekly, effective 29-Jul-2019, and to 10 times weekly, effective 05-Aug-2019, according to the CAPA Route Changes Database. SriLankan is the only carrier operating year round service between Sri Lanka and the UK, while TUI Airways also operates seasonal London Gatwick-Colombo service, according to OAG.
