Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena reportedly received a report from the 12 member committee established on 07-Jan-2019 to prepare recommendations for the restructuring of SriLankan Airlines (Colombo Page/Economy Next/Sunday Times Sri Lanka/News First, 28/29-Jan-2019). The committee recommended SriLankan undertake debt restructuring and capital raising activities and focus on issues including the independence of its board and management, providing an independent procurement process, restructuring human resources and revising project models.
