SriLankan Airlines records 10% increase in passengers cancellations

SriLankan Airlines CEO Vipula Gunatilleka reported the airline recorded a 10% increase in passenger cancellations following the Sri Lanka Easter bombings on 21-Apr-2019, adding that SriLankan expects to record a further increase in cancellations (Reuters/Daily Financial Times, 29/30-Apr-2019). Sri Lanka's Tourism Bureau chairman Kishu Gomes reported tourist arrivals to Colombo are expected to decrease by more than 50% year-on-year for the next two months due to the bombings.
