Sri Lanka to permit foreign airlines to operate domestic services to five airports

    Sri Lanka‘s Cabinet reportedly approved a proposal to permit foreign airlines to operate domestic services in Sri Lanka (Lanka Business Online/Economy Next/Daily Financial Times, 02/03-Oct-2019). Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka is authorised to issue one year operating licences foreign airlines for the operation of services to Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, Palaly Jaffna Airport, Batticaloa Airport and Colombo Ratmalana Airport.
