Sri Lanka to decrease fees, charges at Colombo Bandaranaike to increase connectivity

    Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority stated the price of aviation fuel, ground handling and embarkation fees at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport will be reduced for six months, in order to increase connectivity after the Apr-2019 Easter bombings (Economy Next/Colombo Gazette/Xinhuanet, 08-Jul-2019). 29 airlines operated 300 frequencies per week to Sri Lanka in Apr-2018, decreasing to 239 per week after the Easter bombings.
