Spring Airlines establishes Shenzhen branch company

Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau announced (18-Jul-2019) the establishment of Spring Airlines' Shenzhen branch company, becoming the sixth airline to have a base at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. Spring Airlines stated it aims to "firmly grasp the historical development opportunities of the Greater Bay Area" with the establishment of the branch company. It also plans to work closely with Shenzhen Airport to make use of big data, the Internet and the launch of intermodal products such as air and rail transport. Spring Airlines bases seven aircraft at Shenzhen Airport, operating 15 domestic and two international services across 16 cities.
