Spirit Airlines: self service bag drop system a 'clear' customer service message

Spirit Airlines VP of airport services Mike Byrom reported its self service bag drop system at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport is "a clear message" the carrier is "thinking about every facet of our guest experience with innovative and forward thinking solutions to elevate our service" (airport-technology.com, 24-Jun-2019). As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier introduced the airport's first automated self service bag drop. The bag drop is located in the ticketing concourse in terminal 1 and allows passengers to pay and tag their own bags at airport kiosks.
