Southwest Airlines returns two Mexico City Juarez International Airport slot pairs

US Department of Transportation (DoT) received (11-Feb-2019) notice from Southwest Airlines, informing the DoT it is returning two Mexico City Juarez International Airport slot pairs to Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México. As previously reported by CAPA, Southwest Airlines chairman and CEO Gary C Kelly said the airline would suspend operations at Mexico City Jaurez airport on 30-Mar-2019 and "reallocate these resources to better opportunities within our existing route network".
