Southwest Airlines expects Hawaiian expansion to 'ignite credit card applications'

Southwest Airlines chief revenue officer Andrew Watterson stated the credit card is "core to the airline business", and he expects the carrier's expansion to Hawaii to "ignite credit card applications" (Skift, 11-Mar-2018). As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier has a goal of launching service to Hawaii by the end of 2018.
