CAPA: Southwest Airlines calls for balance between social distancing and pricing levels

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'COVID-19: Southwest Airlines: nuanced crisis management', stated (09-May-2020) airlines are faced with a problem as they seek to maintain social distancing measures while retaining reasonable pricing levels. Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly observed there will need to be a balance between these two necessary factors, as Southwest is unable to "burn USD900 million a month forever".
