Southwest Airlines president Tom Nealon stated the carrier's business travel "has been much more severely impacted than leisure travel", resulting in a 90% to 95% decrease in revenue for business travel in 2Q2020 (Seeking Alpha, 24-Jul-2020). Mr Nealon noted the carrier has entered discussions with corporate travel managers, and is "hearing some pretty cautious optimism about travel resuming back in the third and fourth quarters, but certainly, with the recent spike in COVID cases, that is far from what's going to happen".
