Southwest Airlines commented on Boeing 737 MAX operations, stating: "To date, we have operated more than 41,000 flights and have corresponding aircraft data that indicates the effectiveness of our operating standards, procedures, and training" (Reuters, 13-Mar-2019). It added it remains confident in its 34 MAX 8 aircraft, following the Ethiopian Airlines' incident.
