    South Korea‘s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) reported (04-Aug-2019) the following airline traffic highlights for the six months ended Jun-2019:

    • Passengers: 61.6 million, +6.0% year-on-year;
      • Domestic: 16.0 million, +1.0%;
        • Korean Air: 3.7 million, +3.9%;
        • Asiana Airlines: 3.1 million, +2.5%;
        • South Korean LCCs: 9.2 million, -0.6%;
          • Jeju Air: 2.3 million, +1.9%;
          • Air Busan: 2.1 million, -5.2%;
          • Jin Air: 1.7 million, -3.0%;
          • Eastar Jet: 1.5 million, -0.5%;
          • T’way Air: 1.5 million, +5.2%;
      • International: 45.6 million, +7.9%;
        • By region:
          • Japan: 11.2 million, +4.0%;
          • China: 8.8 million, +15.6%;
          • Rest of Asia: 17.7 million, +9.5%;
          • Europe: 3.1 million, +11.4%;
