Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau reported visitor arrivals for the year to Aug-2017 rose 8.3% year-on-year to 16,190 (Solomon Star, 07-Nov-2017). Australian arrivals grew 3.4% to 6425, accounting for 35.4% of all visitors. US arrivals rose 5.6% to 1125 and New Zealand arrivals rose 5.6% to 1108.
