Solomon Airlines commenced weekly Honiara-Lomlom Island service with Bombardier Dash 8 equipment (South Pacific Tourism Organisation, 16-Jan-2019). "The new service is significant for one of the remotest regions of the country", Solomon Airlines commercial manager Colin Sigimanu said, noting the route holds potential for business activities and the development of tourism.
