Solomon Airlines confirms Seghe Airport runway unsuitable and unsafe for operations

Solomon Airlines advised (06-Jul-2017) all passenger services to Seghe have been temporarily suspended due to the Seghe Airport runway surface having deteriorated to the point where it was deemed unsuitable and unsafe for operations. Solomon Airlines stated the rehabilitation of the runway surface will be extended to 22-Jul-2017. Customers affected by the closure have been given the option of changing their flights to Munda or Ramata at no additional cost. [more - original PR]
