Solomon Airlines CEO Brett Gebers reported the "end result" of its de Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otter refurbishment "looks exceptionally good" (Australian Aviation, 29-Nov-2019). Ikhana Aircraft Services oversaw the project, while Solomon Airlines staff in charge of aircraft interiors and repainting the aircraft as well as the involvement of two Air Niugini engineers. As previously reported by CAPA, Solomon Airlines is the first airline in the region to carry out C checks for Dash 8 aircraft with Air Niugini.
