Singapore Airlines to take over SilkAir Busan service from late Oct-2019

Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced (12-Sep-2019) plans to take over SilkAir's Singapore-Busan service from 28-Oct-2019 due to increased demand, increasing seat capacity by 76% on the route. Subject to regulatory approval, SIA will operate on the route four times weekly, maintaining SilkAir's current frequency. In addition to Busan, SIA and its LCC subsidiary Scoot operate a total of 31 frequencies weekly to Seoul. [more - original PR]
