Singapore Airlines receives approval for transit flights outbound from Australia and New Zealand

Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced (11-Jun-2020) customers will be able to transit through Singapore's Changi Airport on a one way basis from Australia and New Zealand to SIA Group's global network from 11-Jun-2020. The transit channel is subject to the following restrictions:

  • Connections must be no longer than 48 hours;
  • Customers can only travel on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Scoot services and cannot connect to other carriers once in Singapore;
