Singapore Airlines cuts capacity by 50%, prepared for 'prolonged period of difficulty'

Singapore Airlines (SIA) reduced (17-Mar-2020) capacity by 50% in response to the coronavirus outbreak. CEO Goh Choon Phong stated: "We have lost a large amount of our traffic in a very short time, and it will not be viable for us to maintain our current network".
