SilkAir employees to progressively transfer to Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines Group stated SilkAir employees will progressively transfer to Singapore Airlines (SIA) as part of the multi year integration of the airlines (CNA, 26-Nov-2018). Approximately 100 SilkAir staff are expected to be affected by route suspensions. The group said SilkAir will work with employees on "possible placement opportunities in other SIA stations" as well as with Scoot, GSAs and ground handling agents. The group added: "We will also be engaging the services of employment agencies on placement assistance, and offering compensation packages where applicable".
