Sichuan Airlines launches Melbourne-Guiyang-Chengdu service

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport announced (12-Jun-2019) Sichuan Airlines launched weekly Melbourne-Guiyang-Chengdu scheduled charter service. Melbourne Airport chief of aviation David Hall welcomed the launch, commenting: "Opening up access to a new destination is exciting for Victorian travellers, and we are proud to be the first Australian airport to facilitate travel nonstop to Guiyang". Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou Province and becomes the 13th Chinese destination available from Melbourne. [more - original PR]
