Seychelles Govt: BA's London service will also boost visitors from emerging North American markets

Seychelles' Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Maurice Loustau-Lalanne welcomed (25-Mar-2018) the launch of British Airways' (BA) year round, twice weekly London Heathrow-Seychelles service, after a 14 year absence from the route. Mr Loustau-Lalanne noted more than 21,000 UK tourists visited the Seychelles in 2017, representing a 14% year-on-year increase. With British Airways' added connectivity, the Seychelles expects to receive 25,000 UK tourists in 2018, representing an increase of 21%.
