Secretary of State for Transport: French aviation industry to continue to consolidate

France's Secretary of State for Transportation Jean-Baptiste Djebbari commented on the state of smaller French airlines (Le Parisien, 09-Sep-2019). Mr Djebbari said the government is "examining the health of these [other French airlines] companies very closely". He added the French aviation industry should expect a movement towards consolidation "in the coming months or years to come" as it becomes more "fragmented" with "too many airlines not having the critical mass to respond to challenges".
