Scoot plans to take over the following services from SilkAir, subject to government approval (Routes Online, 04-Dec-2018):
- Singapore-Thiruvananthapuram: Five times weekly with A320, effective 07-May-2019;
- Singapore-Coimbatore: Five times weekly with A320, effective 27-Oct-2019;
- Singapore-Kota Kinabalu: Seven times weekly with A320, effective 03-Dec-2019;
- Singapore-Chiang Mai: SilkAir to suspend service, Scoot to increase frequency from four to 10 times weekly.
As previously reported by CAPA, Scoot, SilkAir and Singapore Airlines plan to implement a series of operational changes between Apr-2019 and 2H2020 ahead of the merger of SilkAir into Singapore Airlines.
