Schiphol Airport noise levels 'well within the norm', night flights down 3.5% in 2019

Netherlands' Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) director Jan van den Bos, in an ILT report, entitled: 'The State of Schiphol', stated (07-Feb-2020) the noise levels of all aircraft movements at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport are "well within the norm" however many people in the Schiphol area "experience this differently". A 32,000 movement limit has been set for movements between 23:00 and 06:00, effective 2018. The number of movements in this time period decreased by 3.5% year-on-year to 30,112 in 2019.
