Saudia plans to start negotiations for flyadeal fleet order before the end of 2017

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) director-general Saleh Bin Nasser Al Jasser said the carrier will enter discussions with Boeing and Airbus for around 30 narrowbody aircraft for its new LCC subsidary flyadeal before the end of 2017 (Reuters, 05-Oct-2017). Flyadeal commenced operations on 23-Dec-2017. The carrier is leasing eight A320s from DAE Capital in the interim.
