SATA: 'SATA already needed restructuring prior to the pandemic'

SATA chairman Luis Rodrigues commented on resumption of services, stating: "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger" (PubliTuris, 02-Jun-2020). He added that 2020 will not be a good year for anyone but "SATA already needed restructuring prior to the pandemic, this just came to speed up this need". Mr Rodrigues stated that SATA plays a much more important role for the Azores region than TAP Air Portugal plays in continental Portugal.
