SAS to launch service to five new destinations in summer 2018

SAS confirmed (26-Oct-2017) plans to operate to five new destinations and open 27 new direct routes from Denmark, Norway and Sweden over summer 2018. Key services include:

  • Sweden: SAS plans to launch direct services from Arlanda Airport to Verona, Gazipasa, and Birmingham and expand services to Palma, Lisbon, Malaga and Rome;
  • Norway: SAS plans to launch direct services from Oslo Airport to Thessaloniki, Prague, Genève, Warsaw and Aarhus and expand services to Athens, Düsseldorf and Manchester. In addition, SAS plans to operate nonstop routes from other hubs including: Bergen-Pula, Stavanger-Pula, Bodø-Alicante and Trondheim-Split;
  • Denmark: SAS plans to launch direct services from Copenhagen Airport to Beirut, Toulon, Sarajevo, Lisbon and Genoa. SAS also plans to expand services to Zurich, Rome and Aarhus.
