San Juan Domingo Airport resumes operations following two months of runway works

Argentina's Ministry of Transport announced (03-Jun-2019) that San Juan Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Airport resumed operation following two months of closure due to runway construction works. The project consisted of complete runway taxiway and shoulder resurfacing. The project also expanded the apron from 22,000sqm to 42,000sqm, allowing the airport to handle six Boeing 737 sized aircraft or two 767 sized aircraft and two 737 sized aircraft.
