Samoa Govt: Samoa Airways resumes Apia Faleolo-Auckland service following 737-800 maintenance

    Samoa‘s Government, via its official Facebook account, announced (09-Oct-2018) resumption of Samoa Airways‘ Apia Faleolo-Auckland scheduled service following maintenance on its Boeing 737-800 equipment. The carrier chartered Nauru Airlines 737-300 and Fiji Airways A330 aircraft to operate Apia-Auckland and Apia-Sydney services outside of respective schedules. “We thank our passengers for their patience and understanding as we worked with them to rearrange their travel plans”, Samoa Airways CEO Tupuivao Seiuli Alvin Tuala commented. As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier plans to launch twice weekly Apia Faleolo-Brisbane service on 13-Nov-2018.
