Samoa's Government reported plans to continue the USD5 million construction of an emergency airport located in Ti'avea on Upolu Island (Samoa Observer/RNZ, 14/16-Oct-2019). The airport will be constructed on reclaimed swampland and used in the occasion of bad weather at Fagali'i Airport.
