Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport CEO Ersel Göral reported the airport has "taken a new position as Istanbul's city airport" (Hürriyet, 10-Jun-2019). He said the airport's capacity increased from 33 million passengers p/a to 41 million p/a with the opening of its new domestic terminal.
