Ryanair to significantly reduce UK domestic connections to Stansted due to 737 MAX grounding

Ryanair reportedly plans to reduce services to Edinburgh and Belfast from London Stansted Airport due to the grounding of the carrier's Boeing 737 MAX aircraft (Scotsman/Independent, 08-Apr-2019). Edinburgh-Stansted frequency will decrease from up to four times daily to four times weekly, and Belfast-Stansted frequency will reduce from three times daily to twice weekly. As previously reported by CAPA, Ryanair has orders for 135 high density 737 MAX 200 aircraft, with the first deliveries scheduled for 1H2019.
