Ryanair announced (20-Feb-2019) it will open a new base at Toulouse from Oct-2019. The carrier will base two aircraft at the airport operating 20 new routes to seven countries, of which 11 will be new. The carrier estimates that establishing a hub at the airport will add 1 million passengers p/a, increasing traffic by 21% year-on-year. Ryanair will create 60 pilot and cabin crew jobs and support approximately 750 airport jobs. The new routes comprise:
- Alicante; Twice weekly;
- Brest: Three times weekly;
- Budapest: Twice weekly;
- Lille: Daily;
- Luxembourg; Three times weekly:
- Marseille: Daily;
- Oujda: Twice weekly;
- Palermo: Twice weekly;
- Porto three times weekly;
- Tangier twice weekly;
