Armenia‘s Civil Aviation Committee chair Tatevik Revazian said Ryanair plans to become the first LCC to launch direct services between Europe and Armenia (Nouvelles d´Arménie Magazine/Radio Free Europe, 11-Mar-2019). Ms Revazian said: “We have received a proposal and are negotiating from that… They [Ryanair] made it clear that they wanted to enter the [Armenian aviation] market in 2020”. She added that airfares would not exceed EUR500.
