Richard Branson launches Virgin Australia inaugural Melbourne-Hong Kong service

    Virgin Australia launched (05-Jul-2017) its inaugural Melbourne-Hong Kong service with a traditional 32m long Bendigo dragon Yar Loong procession through Melbourne Airport. Virgin Group founder Richard Branson attended the event to launch the five times weekly service and was joined by: Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Steven Ciobo, Virgin Australia Group CEO and MD John Borghetti, Victoria Minister for Sports, Tourism and Major Events Minister John Eren and Hong Kong Tourism Board regional director Andrew Clarke.
