Rex: No plans for additional services to Orange despite improved pax growth

Regional Express (Rex) said passenger numbers increased 15% year-on-year at Orange Springhill Airport in FY2018/2019, adding: "This significant passenger growth can be directly attributed to a combination of the extra flights implemented by Rex in Feb-2018, combined with the Rex Community Fare Scheme implemented in May-2018" (Central Western Daily, 18-Dec-2018). The carrier said there are no plans to implement additional services to the airport, however will continue to monitor network growth and sustainability.
