Regional Express (Rex) increased (21-Feb-2019) its pledge towards flood relief in Northern Queensland to AUD1.5 million (USD1.1 million). The fund will be available for all relief efforts arising from natural disasters such as drought, floods and fire. “Rex has the largest network in regional and rural Queensland with 25 destinations from Brisbane to Bamaga, and it behoves us to stand by our loyal rural customers in their time of greatest need”, Rex deputy chairman John Sharp commented.
