Rex confirms additional regional services

Regional Express (Rex) announced (29-Apr-2020) the confirmation of additional regional services funded by both Federal and State Governments, and will now operate 88 weekly frequencies under various funding arrangements. In addition to a Federal Government funding package, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia Governments committed to funding additional frequencies. An agreement with the Queensland Government has been signed and agreements with the Western Australia and South Australia Governments are due to be confirmed. With revised Grant guidelines, Rex is eligible to receive funding to operate 2-3 return frequencies a week to all destinations on the Rex network.
