Regional Express (Rex) deputy chairman John Sharp reported the first third of FY2017/18 “appears to confirm the recovery trend noticed in the prior FY”. The carrier also expects a firm increase in fly-in fly-out (FIFO) activities for Pel-Air in addition to new contracts confirmed at the tail end of FY2016/17. International enrolment at the group’s AAPA training business is also expected to increase.
